The LOZONE: A Legacy of Love and Loyalty

At the heart of this weekend is Lo Life Orlando (Lozone Family), a nonprofit organization founded in 2019 by Earl Lugo, a former New Yorker and childhood friend of hip-hop icon Thirstin Howl the 3rd. Under Lugo’s leadership and Thirstin’s mentorship, the LOZONE has become a cornerstone of Orlando’s cultural and community landscape.

The LOZONE’s mission is clear: to celebrate and represent hip-hop culture through fashion, art, and music while making a tangible difference in the community. Partnering with local leaders like City of Orlando District 2 Commissioner Tony Ortiz and Orange County District 3 Commissioner Mayra Uribe, the organization hosts annual backpack drives, holiday toy giveaways, and youth sports sponsorships. Their work ensures that underprivileged children have access to opportunities that foster growth, creativity, and hope.

But the LOZONE’s impact doesn’t stop there. The organization is a dedicated supporter of breast cancer awareness, contributing donations and participating in annual 5K walks. Their commitment to service is woven into the fabric of everything they do, proving that love and loyalty are more than just words; they’re a way of life.

Black and Brown Unite: A Theme of Strength

The theme of this year’s Love & Loyalty Weekend, “Black and Brown Unite,” is a powerful reminder of the strength found in solidarity. In a world that often seeks to divide, this weekend stands as a testament to the unbreakable bonds between communities of color. It’s about celebrating shared histories, amplifying voices, and building a future rooted in unity.

As Earl Lugo often says, “It isn’t just about looking fresh in POLO; it’s about making a difference in the community.” This weekend is a reflection of that ethos, a celebration of culture, resilience, and the power of coming together.

Join the Movement

The Love & Loyalty Orlando 2026 Weekend is more than an event; it’s a call to action. It’s an invitation to stand together, to celebrate our shared humanity, and to honor the legacy of those who came before us. Whether you’re a longtime member of the Lo Life family or a newcomer to the movement, this weekend promises to leave you inspired, connected, and ready to carry the spirit of unity forward.

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join us in the LOZONE. Together, we’ll show the world what it means to truly live by the code: Love and Loyalty.
